You can study almost every level in Malaysia: Foundation (HSC equivalent), Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD.

Do I really need IELTS/TOEFL to study in Malaysia? Are there options without IELTS?
Most universities require proof of English proficiency, but the format can be flexible:

How long does the student visa process usually take?
From the time your complete file is submitted to EMGS along with the payment, the student visa approval usually takes around 4–6 weeks. This can be faster or slower depending on university response times and immigration checks.
Can I apply if I have study gaps? How many years of gap are accepted?
You can apply with study gaps, but Malaysia has become stricter in recent years, especially for eVisa applicants from Bangladesh.

- Short gaps (around 2–3 years) are normally fine.
- Longer gaps need a strong explanation, such as full-time work experience or other valid reasons with proof.
Can I transfer credits from Malaysia to another country?
Yes, many universities in Malaysia allow credit transfer.

Can I bring my spouse or parents as dependents on my student visa?
